Open-source leave and absence management for small teams.

Leavely OSS is a self-hostable, multi-tenant leave and absence management platform for small businesses, contractors and distributed teams. It helps teams manage annual leave, sickness, approvals, public holidays, part-time allowance calculations, rotas, expenses and basic HR audit trails — something clearer than a spreadsheet but lighter than a full enterprise HR platform.

This is the public, open-source edition of Leavely.

Security Notice

This repository is the public open-source version of Leavely. It must not contain production secrets, real database credentials, Neon/Supabase keys, or real employee/customer data.

Use .env.example as a template and keep real secrets in .env.local / .dev.vars, which are git-ignored. Before committing, run a secret scanner — see SECURITY.md. To report a vulnerability, do not open a public issue; follow the process in SECURITY.md.

Deployment

Deployed to Cloudflare Workers. The deploy script builds Next.js, patches WASM loading for the Cloudflare runtime (Prisma requires this), and pushes to Workers.

pnpm run deploy

You can also self-host on any platform that runs Next.js with a PostgreSQL database. Cloudflare-specific deployment notes are in docs/CLOUDFLARE.md.
