JPCUB Predictive Validation

Joules Per Computational Unit — Hardware-independent, workload-normalized computing efficiency metric validation.

Status: Phase 4 Complete (lightweight) | Genre: Epistemic (A)

Quick Start

  • Plan: PROJECT-PLAN.md
  • Phase 4: artifacts/structured-forecast-protocol-v2.md — Lightweight Phase 4 with 5 assumptions, qualitative ranking, sensitivity, calibration register, Stage 9 (4 domains: procurement, cloud pricing, regulation, hardware design), Stage 10 (2 fork tiers: Green500 2010, microprocessor 1970s)
  • Due Diligence: artifacts/due-diligence.md
  • Literature: artifacts/literature-review.md

Core Claim

The JPCUB metric provides a hardware-independent, workload-normalized measure of computing efficiency. Validation requires demonstrating that JPCUB rankings are robust under workload perturbation, architecture variation, and temporal drift.

About

Validating JPCUB as a predictive metric for computing paradigm shifts — historical backtest + prospective ranking of post-silicon candidates
