BASIS (Building Automation Identity & Security)

BASIS is an open-source initiative exploring identity-aware authorization for operational technology environments such as commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, warehouses, and data centers.

The project investigates how authorization, policy enforcement, and auditability can be applied consistently across operational systems while preserving clear trust boundaries and deterministic decision making.
