Hi there, I'm Gideon

I build full-stack web applications with a focus on performance, clean architecture, and systems that scale. My work spans through frontend product engineering, backend API design, and the infrastructure layer that connects them.

Currently leading engineering on a Canadian SaaS (Smooov.ca) marketplace, We are building a digital marketplace that connects local verified service providers (i.e Taskers) with locals, home owners, senior Citizens (i.e Clients), providing manual labour help.

Backend Application for a two-sided SaaS marketplace. Monolithic-core architecture with service boundaries, event distributed system, Redis caching, and full Docker deployment. Stripe payments integrated agnostically through an IoC-driven payment module for easy provider swapping. Location boundary enforcement gates onboarding and job requests to supported regions only.
