That's the whole premise. Legion Works is where the too-niche-to-be-a-product, too-useful-to-abandon ideas get built anyway — presence-aware display daemons, infrastructure that runs itself, developer tools that respect your time instead of your attention span.
Opinionated by default. Open by license. You're welcome to disagree with the opinions — the code is dual-licensed MIT/Apache-2.0, so you can fork them right back out.
- Small, sharp tools. One job, done properly, configurable down to the bone.
- No telemetry. No phone-home. No accounts. Your machine, your data, nobody's cloud.
- Public when it's ready. Repos open up as they stabilize. Some are daemons quietly keeping my own house in order; the rest are getting there.
Legion is a stack of frontier models that argue until they agree, then write the code. "Many programs, one consensus" isn't a tagline — it's the build process. Yes, really.
